Love Cambodia is a Christian faith based organisation which reaches the poor and needy in Cambodia and works towards fighting human exploitation.
We hope to raise awareness of the needs of the young Cambodians and encourage people to visit and support Cambodia with educational material, employment, health and accommodation.
Love Cambodia started in the Language School IDIOMS, in Figueres (Catalonia, Spain), in 2009. 1 Euro from the students’ monthly payment was given away to sponsor two little girls in Cambodia. The students also decided to raise money in order to buy a bicycle for one of these girls from the province of Battambong, so she didn’t have to walk 2 hours every day to go to school.
Since then, Love Cambodia has opened a sencond-hand charity shop and has raised and sent money toward childrens’ education and to help girls who have been set free from human exploitation.
We support the Elim Missions (UK) campaign called “Be Free”. This project was launched in September 2013 and provides a 12-month training programme for young ladies who have rescued from a life of abuse or exploitation. In a safe and loving environment, the girls are taught skills in handicrafts, English, Khmer, life skills, bible study and devotions. The vision of Be Free Cambodia is to see lives restored, hearts mended and women with lives filled with God’s joy and peace! http://www.elimmissions.co.uk/befree
David and Esther Allen are ELIM missionaries in Cambodia who work in the field. Here’s the link to their blog. https://davyandesther.wordpress.com/
Today we continue blessing people acroos the globe.
